Annual event offers invigorating day for the mind, body & soul
Virtua recently held its popular Women’s Conference, drawing almost 400 attendees for a day of expert advice, wellness and fun.
Held at the Crowne Plaza in Cherry Hill, the event featured keynote speaker Christine Carter, PhD – an acclaimed motivational speaker and author – who discussed “How to Accomplish More by Doing Less.”
Also included: breakout sessions on pain relief without prescriptions, outsmarting emotional eating, caring for aging parents, and issues women may find too embarrassing to discuss with their doctor.
“This year’s conference was one of our best yet,” said Stephanie Fendrick, Senior Vice President of Strategic Partnerships and Service Line Strategy for Virtua. “From the free spa and beauty services, to the mini yoga classes, to all the amazing speakers, it was an energizing and enlightening day for women of all ages and backgrounds.”
Attendees were also treated to a healthy breakfast, gourmet coffee bar, sit-down lunch, and high-quality gifts.
