WOODBURY, NJ (January 3, 2017) Terri Spoltore, DNP, MSN, RN, CCRN, vice president of Patient Care Services for Inspira Medical Center Woodbury, has been named the Nurse Executive of the Year by the Organization of Nurse Leaders of New Jersey (ONL-NJ).
Each year, nurse leaders from across the state select one Nurse Executive for this award. According to the nomination criteria, this award recognizes the most senior nurse leader in a health care organization who best “demonstrates exceptional leadership, guidance and service to their organization and to the profession of nursing.”
With more than 29 years of experience in the nursing field, Spoltore is well respected by colleagues and has climbed the professional ladder from staff nurse to her current role. As vice president of Patient Care Services, she oversees all aspects of patient care including the development of clinical and staffing standards.

Spoltore has received numerous other awards and recognitions including Inspira Health Network President’s Award (2014), March of Dimes Nurse of the Year for Adult Critical Care (2013) and Inspira Health Network Director of the Year (2008). Known as an advocate for higher learning, Spoltore earned a master’s of Science in Nursing and completed her doctorate of Nursing Practice at Walden University in 2016.
